The Dead Know Nothing: Exposing the Pagan Lie in Modern Christianity
Let’s get something straight.
The dead don’t talk. The dead don’t walk. The dead don’t visit you in dreams, float across your living room, or move objects in church sanctuaries.
They don’t watch over you.
They don’t whisper messages.
They don’t haunt anything.
“For the living know that they shall die: but the dead know not anything.”
— Ecclesiastes 9:5
That's the Word. Plain and raw.
So what does that say about the glowing "angelic" presence people feel at funerals? Or the “grandma ghost” sightings? Or the “spirit” that brushed your cheek during worship?
The Dead Don’t Do That
The Bible is clear. When someone dies:
Their breath returns to Yahuah (Ecclesiastes 12:7)
Their body returns to dust
Their thoughts perish (Psalm 146:4)
They rest. They sleep. They know nothing.
There are no spirits floating around playing tricks on the living—at least, not the spirits of the dead.
Familiar Spirits Are Real
But there are spirits.
And some of them aren’t what they seem.
The Bible calls them familiar spirits—ancient deceivers who mimic voices, memories, and appearances to manipulate and confuse.
They show up in emotional places—funerals, churches, homes grieving loss.
They masquerade as loved ones, angels, even prophets.
They prey on grief and weakness.
Remember Saul and the witch of Endor? He called up Samuel’s spirit and got a familiar spirit instead. A trick that cost him his kingdom—and his life.
"Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of Elohim...” — 1 John 4:1
Pagan Lies in Modern Christianity
Most churches today aren’t preaching the truth of Yahuah.
They teach:
“Jesus” instead of Yahusha.
Sunday worship instead of the Sabbath.
Christmas and Easter instead of the feasts of Yahuah.
A gospel of feelings and prosperity instead of obedience and holiness.
They comfort people with lies about their dead loved ones “watching over them,” but the Word is clear:
And those lies open the door for familiar spirits to perform their deception.
Yahuah Does Not Dwell in Man-Made Buildings
“Howbeit the Most High dwelleth not in temples made with hands.” — Acts 7:48
Yahuah’s presence isn’t found in stained glass, steeples, or fancy sermons.
He dwells in the obedient, the set-apart, the ones who worship in spirit and truth (John 4:23-24).
If the truth isn’t preached, if the Name of Yahusha is denied, if the commandments are ignored—then Yahuah’s Spirit isn’t there.
